Omar and Sanders win Spottys ™
For their statements on learning about the application for arrest warrants for Israeli and Hamas leaders in the International Criminal Court, U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar and U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders win Spotty™ awards. I particularly admire the way Omar’s statement lays out the way the ICC works. The United States is not a member of the ICC, but the offenses that will be charged are part of conventions in which the United States played an active and critical role.
